I used to draw a ton of wolves and tigers and stuff, I don’t know I just go through phases I guess. Presently focusing on lettering and human faces.

I try to avoid honey unless it's local and as much as I hate the idea of imprisoned animals I can see the value of zoos as learning centers... I guess I'm jut curious about what other vegans think?

Honey isn’t vegan, that isn’t really a debate worth having. An animal made it, the end. As for zoos, I don’t think it is right to take an animal from its natural habitat for human entertainment and exploitation, it isn’t much better than a circus. I consider this different from a place like a farm sanctuary, which would exist for rehabilitation or rescue and may happen to have times where the public can come visit and connect with the animals.

I tried out some copperplate calligraphy for a quick piece to send my mom for mothers day. 9x12 acrylic ink and corrective fluid on watercolor paper. including closeups to see some details like the white ink flowers behind the text, and a progress shot fromt tracing the original sketch. hope she likes it.
