I designed a couple posters that my homies Tom and Miz are going to screen print, and we will have them for a couple special shows on this tour. The print with the moon is for the Bowery Ballroom show in NYC which is now sold out. The print with the book is for the Metro show in Chicago (the final show of tour), and you can get tickets here. Each of these are 11x17 screenprints, limited to 75 copies, and will be available for $15. In the unlikely event that there are extras at the end of tour, I’ll have them for sale in my webstore. my roommate Kevin is at I Got Brains Fest this weekend and just sent me this shot of my screen printed poster that is available this weekend. They came out great, I’m stoked. The proceeds from poster sales are going to Girls Rock! RVA. Happy to have a hand in this year’s event and hope they hit me up again next year.

Here is my design for the Less Than Jake poster show that took place last night in Orlando, celebrating their 20th anniversary as a band. When I was brainstorming what to draw, I realized how much LTJ sings about waste, whether it was wasted youth, wasted time, or simply getting wasted. I wanted that to be my focus, but not display waste as a detriment, but as more of a leisure. I was very honored to be asked to participate in this. The prints are limited to 30, I’m not sure yet if there are any left or if there will be any made available online, but I’ll post if I find out anything. Thanks again Vinnie and LTJ family.

Today in Russia Judge Marina Syrova found Nadya, Katya and Masha, three members of the Russian feminist punk band Pussy Riot, guilty of “hooliganism” for their anti-Kremlin protest in Moscow’s Christ the Saviour Cathedral. Although not surprised, we are greatly disappointed at the news of Pussy Riot’s guilty verdict and sentencing of two years in prison.

Anti-Flag and Adam Vass have joined forces to release a special limited edition t-shirt and exclusive poster with all profits benefiting Pussy Riot.

“When I first found out about the persecution of Pussy Riot, I was shocked that such a thing could exist in our world. Each one will be signed and numbered as well. See you there. Our best friend and designer of many cool things, Mr. Adam Vass, is making these for the Boston show on this tour. Come out and snag one before they sell out.  The venue got changed because the Sinclair is still somehow under construction, it is now at the Royale. Tickets will still be accepted, but just a heads up to anyone who may be going, its in the theater district and not harvard anymore. the poster has been revised to reflect this change as well, just in the nick of time.  these are limited to 50, so get to the show and get one early, they will likely sell out.
