I used to draw a ton of wolves and tigers and stuff, I don’t know I just go through phases I guess. Presently focusing on lettering and human faces.

I went vegan about six months ago and I love it but I'm still on the fence about things like honey and zoos, so I was wondering how you felt about it? I try to avoid honey unless it's local and as much as I hate the idea of imprisoned animals I can see the value of zoos as learning centers... I guess I'm jut curious about what other vegans think?

Honey isn’t vegan, that isn’t really a debate worth having. An animal made it, the end. As for zoos, I don’t think it is right to take an animal from its natural habitat for human entertainment and exploitation, it isn’t much better than a circus. I consider this different from a place like a farm sanctuary, which would exist for rehabilitation or rescue and may happen to have times where the public can come visit and connect with the animals.

A reminder that theres only one day left to order from adamxvass.bigcartel.com before a shipping hiatus the next two weeks. All orders placed before noon tomorrow (thursday) will ship before the weekend, but all orders later than that won’t ship until June 3rd.

I tried out some copperplate calligraphy for a quick piece to send my mom for mothers day. 9x12 acrylic ink and corrective fluid on watercolor paper. including closeups to see some details like the white ink flowers behind the text, and a progress shot fromt tracing the original sketch. hope she likes it.

I don’t do my printing in house, I have to order out at deal with minimum quantities and up front costs that keep me from making everything ever. Been thinking lately about opening up at society 6 so people can get stuff they want without me having to order 50 of them when they don’t get ordered and sit in my room.
Of course if all you want is a jpg so you can print one out and make your own spoke card, I’d be alright with that.

Maybe. I think the project itself would be equally as important as the collaborator in my decision to do it or not. That said, I have worked with people I don’t know very well having just been fans of one another’s art. So very maybe.

I'm probably not the first to ask this, but what would it take for a band to get work done by you?

I’m making a zine of all girl heads and it’s gonna come out in a couple weeks, what should I call it? Best suggestion gets the first copy of it and one of every other zine I have in stock (or equal value gift code for my store). Reblog or reply with your suggestions.

Edit: there are a couple of these I really like. I’m surprised how many positive sounding entries there were, I wouldn’t expect to come off as a generally positive person. Ill contact the winner next week in case anyone else wants to enter before then.
